Workshop on Cupping Therapy
A Cupping Therapy workshop was held at the INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCE, Chandaka On 26th July 2025. Here in the workshop, Cupping therapy expert Dr. Pradyot Kumar Kuila (PT) explained the benefits and advantages of Cupping therapy to students and how it can be integrated with physiotherapy in the future. He also said cupping therapy is a traditional Chinese therapy which was used earlier in different countries, now we are using an evolved Cupping therapy techniques towards mankind. Also practise the attendees the different modules of Cupping Therapy, various techniques regarding this. Also told some dangers during treatment procedure.
During hands-on practice session the students learnt about the indication and contraindication of various modules of cupping therapy which will be helpful in their future. He emphasized the therapeutical and physiological benefits of Cupping therapy towards students.
