Sensitization on Disability and Special Friends of PwDs
The Institute of Health Sciences successfully conducted a sensitization program aimed at fostering inclusivity and understanding towards individuals with disabilities. The program emphasized the importance of creating a supportive and accessible environment for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
The sensitization program included interactive sessions, workshops, and guest lectures by experts in the field of disability studies. Participants gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by PwDs and learned about effective strategies for inclusion. The program aimed to develop empathy, respect, and a sense of responsibility towards individuals with disabilities among the institute's community.
By organizing such programs, the institute reinforces its commitment to creating an inclusive campus and promoting the rights and well-being of PwDs.
