Fire Safety Training
A one day Fire safety training programme was organized by Institute of Health Sciences for its undergraduate students on 7th December, 2024. The training session was conducted at Odisha Fire service training Institute, Baramunda Bhubaneswar under the guidance of professional trainers of Odisha Fire and Disaster Response Academy (OFDRA). This training session included classroom teaching, related instructions and mock drill demonstration. During the training session the training officers explained about fire, its causes, how to prevent fire hazards, etc. They also explained about types of fire extinguishers and how to use them and uses of the different related equipment including fire alarm. This training program was a huge success among the students who actively participated and learnt how to deal with fire hazards and prevention techniques in different situations including evacuation.
